Moreover, our deposit assurance mechanism is designed to protect the interests of both producers and buyers, reducing risks throughout the production and distribution process.

Participants

  • Households and individual farms with land areas of 1 hectare or more wishing to participate in the linkage model.
  • Agricultural enterprises with large areas, aiming to expand production along the value chain.
  • Purchasing partners, including processing companies, exporters, and distribution systems domestically and internationally.

Operational Mechanism

  1. Provision of High-Quality Seeds & Technical Support
  • We supply seeds that align with current market demands, ensuring high yield and quality.
  • Our technical team offers guidance on cultivation methods, pest and disease control, and quality management.
  • We provide bio-based fertilizers and pesticides adhering to sustainable farming standards.
  1. Security Deposit Mechanism
  • Participants enter into contracts committing to supply products that meet specified standards.
  • AgroVita places a security deposit upfront (based on area and expected yield) to affirm our commitment to purchasing.
  • Producers are also required to deposit a portion of the costs (or pledge assets as collateral) to mitigate risks of contract breaches.
  1. Product Off-Take & Payment
  • At harvest, products are purchased at market prices or pre-agreed contract prices.
  • If products meet quality standards, payments are processed promptly as per the agreement.
  • If products fail to meet standards due to producer errors, the security deposit may be partially or fully forfeited.
